    For scheduled caste farmers Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi Swalamban Yojana and Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana for tribal farmers

    According to the new revised grant for the year 2024-2025 to increase financial income by providing sustainable irrigation facilities. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi Swavalamban Yojana for Scheduled Caste / Neo Buddhist farmers And Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana is being implemented by the State Government’s Agriculture Department for tribal farmers. The agriculture department of Zilla Parishad is implementing the said schemes at the regional level.

    Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Agricultural Self-Reliance Yojana

    Under this scheme new well (Rs. 4.00 lakh), repair of old well (Rs. 1.00 lakh), (90% or Rs. 40 thousand) of prevailing economic parameters or actual cost of pump sets (diesel / electric pumps) for pump sets up to 10 Axial capacity. Power Connection Size (Rs. 20 thousand), Inven Boring (Rs. 40 thousand), Solar pump (instead of power connection size or pump set) (Rs. 50 thousand), Plastic lining of farms (Rs. 2.00 lakhs), Machinery (Bull Moved / Tractor Moved) Implements (Rs. 50 thousand), All subsidies are admissible for frost irrigation (within the limit of 15 % or Rs. 47 thousand) and drip irrigation (within the limit of 15 % or Rs. 97 thousand).

    Eligibility criteria for availing the scheme:-

    1. Beneficiary should be a Scheduled Caste / Neo-Buddhist farmer.

    2. The farmer should have a caste certificate issued by the competent authority.

    3. A farmer should have 0.40 hectare and maximum 6.00 hectare agricultural land in his own name.

    4. 7/12 certificate of land tenure and 8A copy must be in the name of the farmer.

    5. Beneficiaries below poverty line will be given first priority.

    6. Beneficiary must have Aadhaar card. Beneficiary must have his own bank account and the said bank account must be linked to Aadhaar card.

    7. Once the full benefit of the respective scheme is taken, the benefit of this scheme will not be paid to the same beneficiary or family for the next five years. Also, if the benefit of a new well is taken, the benefit of the old well repair component will be allowed to the beneficiary after 20 years.

    8. A note will be taken on the 7/12 statement of the beneficiaries who availed the said scheme.

    Birsa Munda Agricultural Revolution Scheme

    Under this scheme new well (Rs. 4.00 lakh), repair of old well (Rs. 1.00 lakh), (90% or Rs. 40 thousand) of prevailing economic parameters or actual cost of pump sets (diesel / electric pumps) for pump sets up to 10 axial capacity.Power Connection Size (Rs. 20 thousand), Inven Boring (Rs. 40 thousand), Solar pump (instead of power connection size or pump set) (Rs. 50 thousand), Plastic lining of farms (Rs. 2.00 lakhs), Machinery (Bull Moved / Tractor Moved) Implements (Rs. 50 thousand), backyard (Rs. 5 thousand), Frost Irrigation (15 % or Rs. 47 thousand within the limit) and Drip Irrigation (15 % or Rs. 97 thousand within the limit), All Subsidies are admissible for piercing Wells (only to tribal farmers in forest areas) (Rs. 50 thousand).

    National Biogas Development Plan

    Advantages of Biogas:-

    Biogas is a great project for the upliftment of farmers, like gas for cooking, electricity generation from slurry to good fertilizer for agriculture.

    Criteria:-

    1. Beneficiary should have at least 5 animals.
    2. Own plot should be (12 X 12) feet.

    Grant limit:-

    1. 1 d.m. Construction of biogas plant of capacity per plant Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Rs. 17000/- General Other Rs. 9800/-

    2. 2 to 4 hrs. Construction of biogas plant of capacity per plant Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Rs. 22000/- and General Others 14350/-

    3. Additional central assistance to biogas plant connected to toilet Rs.1600/- per plant

    Objective:-

    Considering the farmer as the focal point for the use of modern agricultural technology, guiding and providing financial support for the proper utilization of all the necessary resources. Also to take measures to ensure smooth supply of quality agricultural inputs in the district.

    Work:-

    1. To strengthen the financial situation of the farmers in the district by providing financial assistance for irrigation wells by implementing the state sponsored scheme.

    2. Planning to make quality agricultural inputs available to the farmers in the district and providing quality agricultural inputs by conducting quality campaign through Quality Control Inspector.

    3. To create awareness among farmers by holding agricultural meetings and meetings to get information about new technologies and inputs.
