Various types of awards have been received under the Gram Panchayat Division.

1. Under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) in the year 2022-23, Gram Panchayat Bazarwada, Tal. Arvi received the award as a water-rich village.

2. Development of C-class pilgrimage/journey places in rural areas, Government of Maharashtra, Rural Development and Water Conservation Department, Government Decision No.: Tirthavi-2021/Pr.No.651/Yojana-7 dated 16 November 2012, due to the greatness of the pilgrimage places in rural areas, there is a presence of about 200 to 500 devotees every day at the said pilgrimage place and more than 1 lakh devotees every year during the Yatra/Festival. In accordance with this presence, if the presence of devotees is certified by the District Police Superintendent in the certificate issued by the government, such pilgrimage places may be eligible for C-class pilgrimage status. To get the said C class status, the concerned Zilla Parishads submit the proposal along with the documents mentioned in the government decision 1 to 9 before the District Planning Committee.

3. Under My Vansudhara Abhiyan 4.0, the following Gram Panchayats have been awarded at the state level.
   • Panchayat Samiti Selu Gram Panchayat Hingani
   • Panchayat Samiti Karanja Gram Panchayat Thanegaon
   • Panchayat Samiti Arvi Gram Panchayat Mirzapur
4. Under My Vansudhara Abhiyan 4.0, the following Gram Panchayats have been awarded at the divisional level
   • Panchayat Samiti Deoli Gram Panchayat Nachangaon
   • Panchayat Samiti Wardha Gram Panchayat Anji (Mothi)
   • Panchayat Samiti Selu Gram Panchayat Hingani
   • Panchayat Samiti Karanja Gram Panchayat Thanegaon
   • Panchayat Samiti Karanja Gram Panchayat Rajni
5. Fifteenth Finance Commission-

   The Finance Commission has been planned to make Panchayat Raj institutions more capable. As per the guidelines of the Central Government, under the initiative ‘‘Our Village, Our Development’’, ‘‘Gram Panchayat Development Plan’’ is prepared and its effective implementation is done by the Finance Commission.
   The Ministry of Panchayati Raj prepared the guidelines for the preparation of comprehensive Gram Panchayat Development Plans in the year 2018. In the year 2018 and 2019, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Government of India, jointly announced the ‘‘Peoples Plan Campaign- PPC’’ for the preparation of comprehensive Gram Development Plans (GPDPs), ‘‘Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas’’. Due to such campaigns, the quality of Village Development Plans has improved significantly.

   Under the Fifteenth Finance Commission, R.R. (Aaba) Patil Smart Village Scheme was implemented, under which Gram Panchayat Madani, Gram Panchayat Rasulabad, Gram Panchayat Peth, Gram Panchayat Kankathi, and Gram Panchayat Mansawali, selected under Wardha Taluka in the year 2020-21, were all awarded and were honored with certificates by the Hon’ble Guardian Minister, District Wardha, on Republic Day, on 26th January 2025.
