    District Rural Development Agency

    Introduction

    The District Rural Development Agency has been established under the Registration of Societies Act 1860 and the Bombay Public Trustee Act 1950 in the state for the implementation of centrally awarded schemes. Through the District Rural Development Agency, various schemes are implemented to raise the economic level of the people below the poverty line, for which financial assistance is provided by the Central and State Governments. For the effective implementation of the said schemes, a new framework (Staffing Patern) has been created under the Government Decision No. Jigrap-1121/ Pro.No.43/ Plan-5 dated 01 April 2022 of the Rural Development Department.

    They have their offices at taluka level in 8 Panchayat Samiti under the supervision of Block Development Officer as Well as Project Director District Rural Development Agency Wardha.

    Housing for All-2024 is an important policy of the central government and the state government has also adopted this policy. Accordingly, through the State Management Room-Rural Housing Office, Centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural as well as State sponsored Ramai Awas Yojana, Shabri Awas Yojana, Pardhi Awas Yojana, Adim Awas Yojana, Various rural housing schemes such as Atal Bandhakam Kamgar Awas Yojana, Yashwantrao Mukta Vasahat Yojana, Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Gharkul Yojana, Modi Awas Gharkul Yojana,Also various schemes like Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Gharkul land purchase financial assistance scheme, regularization of encroachment in rural areas are being implemented.

    1. Provision of land to landless beneficiaries.
    2. To give 100 percent approval to the Gharkul as per the objectives.
    3. Timely disbursement of all installments to approved Gharkuls.
    4. Physical completion of all sanctioned houses.
    5. Completion of Delayed Houses.
    6. Completion of rural mason training.
